How to Make Puff Pastry with Minced Meat and Garnish?
- First, let's prepare the stuffing of our pastry (borek).
- For this, take oil in a suitable pan, add the minced meat and fry it until it turns color.
- Add the finely chopped onion, red pepper, and green pepper and fry it.
- Then add garnish, salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder, and mix.
- Lay the baking paper on the bottom of our cooking mold in the size of 28×18 cm, and grease the edges with oil.
- Place the puff pastries in such a way that they hang a little from the edge of the cooking mold, and combine the ends, facing each other.
- Place the puff pastries on the other sides of the cooking mold in such a way that they hang a little from the edge of the mold.
- Pinch the edges of the puff pastry by squeezing it with our hands.
- Prick it with a fork. This will prevent your puff pastry from rising.
- After our stuffing has cooled, pour it into our cooking mold and spread it by pressing lightly on it. First, let's close the puff pastry on the short side of our mold. Then, close the (edges of) remaining puff pastry so that they are on top of each other.
- Smooth out and pinch the edges of our puff pastry with our hands.
- After spreading the egg yolk on our pastry, bake it in a 180°C oven in a controlled manner for about 35-40 minutes.
Take our well-fried pastry out of our mold after it cools down a bit, slice it and put it on the service plate.
Good Appetite.
