Meatballs on Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients for Meatballs on a Bed of Mashed Potatoes
For the meatballs;
- 400 grams ground beef
- 1 onion (grated)
- 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Cumin, red chili powder
For sauce;
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons of oil̆ and some butter
- Salt
- 1 pinch of thyme
For the mash;
- 4 potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 glass of Milk
- Salt, pepper
How to Make Meatballs on Mashed Potatoes?
- First, the potatoes for mash are peeled and cut into small pieces.
- They are cooked with milk that will not exceed them.
- On the other hand, meatball ingredients are kneaded, and small meatballs smaller than walnuts are prepared.
- They are fried in two or three tablespoons of oil.
- The fried meatballs are taken on a plate and grated tomatoes and tomato paste are stirred with the oil in the pan.
- They are cooked by adding a tea glass of water, then the meatballs are added, and the stove is turned down.
- Then they are mashed with a masher by adding other ingredients to the cooked potato.
- If your mash is dark, a little more milk can be added.
