Meatloaf with Peas Recipe

For the stuffing with minced meat;
- Half kilo of ground beef
- 1 grated onion
- 1 teaspoon of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Cumin
- Chili pepper
- Black pepper
Filling ingredient;
- Ready-made garnish or
- 1 cup of peas
- 2 carrots
- 1 potato
For the tomato sauce ;
- Tomato juice or 3 or 4 chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- Salt
How to make Meatloaf with Peas Recipe?
- Take all the ingredients for our minced meat in a bowl and knead until completely mixed together.
- Cover the top of the kneaded stuffing with a stretch wrap and rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Cut the ingredients to be put into small pieces and boil them. (I used peas, carrots and potatoes, if you wish, you can add mushrooms etc.)
- Take our rested stuffing and open it thinly with a rolling pin between 2 pieces of baking paper and remove the baking paper on top. (I'll add a photo of this stage below)
- Put our boiled vegetables on our minced meat in a position that is suitable for making rolls.
- Wrap our roll gently with the help of the baking paper at the bottom and leave baking paper wrapped on it.
- Bend both ends as if it were a candy packing.
- Rest in the fridge in this manner for an hour
- Let's bake our rested roll in a preheated 230 degree oven for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, let's make the tomato sauce;
- Take oil in a pan and fry the tomato paste and garlic.
- After frying, add our tomato or tomato juice and cook for 10 more minutes after cooking and turn down the stove.
- Take our roll out of the oven after 30 minutes, remove the baking paper and bake it again for 10 minutes it the top appears to be browned.
- Cut our cooked roll into slices while it is hot and serve it with tomato sauce at your discretion.
